Gottifredi Maffioli is proud to lead, once again, the innovation in light-weight high
performance rigging, with the development of the new DSK90 product range. Based on Dyneema® SK90, the latest in high-tech fibers, the super-strong DSK90 ULTRA and DSK90 RACE are the result of the R&D efforts we performed, with the collaboration of DSM Dyneema, to engineer the most advanced ropes to help Alinghi win the 32nd America’s Cup. After their successful debut it the America’s Cup, these new products have been tested and validated onboard some of the worlds most prestigious boats, like the lightning-fast giant trimarans Groupama 3 and Banque Populaire V, and Open 60’ Foncia. These state-of-the-art lines, characterised by an extremely high modulus and an unparalleled strength-to-weight ratio, are now available to all sailor eager to improve the performance of their running rigging to the highest level.
