Gottifredi Maffioli at the Vendée Globe Race
Michel Desjoyeaux crossed the finish line of the Vendée Globe Race on Sunday 1st February at 15:11.08 GMT, after 84 days 03 hours 09 minutes of racing and shattered the race record by 3 days 7 hours and 39 minutes.
Desjoyeaux is the first skipper ever to win the solo non stop around the world race twice, after his victory in the 2000/2001 edition.
Onboard his 60-footer Foncia, Desjoyeax used the Gottifredi Maffioli high performance lines DSK 75 Ultra and DSK 75 Race (with the tough GM Cover System options KC and KP for the most critical applications) and the Kevlar 49 Furling Luff Cables developed by Gottifredi Maffioli with its proprietary Undirectional Composite Cable technology.
